Mirjam Kay „MKAY“ Mashkour (*1992) schreibt Prosa, Lieder und kritzelt Comics. Sie hat einen Abschluss in Kreativem Schreiben und Kulturjournalismus vom Literaturinstitut Hildesheim sowie einen Master of Laws in Europarecht von der Universität Bologna, Italien. Neben Schule und Studium arbeitete sie als Journalistin in den Ressorts Kultur und Politik, u.a. für Der Freitag, Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung und Berlin Online. Sie war Teilnehmerin der Romanwerkstatt Kölner Schmiede 2018/2019 und des Workshops des Europäischen Literaturfestivals Köln-Kalk 2020. Ihre Novelle School of Chaos erschien 2022. Aktuell arbeitet MKAY als Lektorin und an ihren eigenen Romanmanuskripten.

Mirjam Kay “MKAY“ Mashkour (*1992) writes prose, songs and scribbles comics. She is a graduate of the Creative Writing and Culture Journalism degree program at the Hildesheim Literature Institute in Germany, and holds an LL.M. degree in European Law from the University of Bologna, Italy. Alongside school, she worked as a journalist in editorials for culture and politics, including Der Freitag and several local newspapers. She was a participant of the 2018/2019 writers‘ workshop Kölner Schmiede and the workshop of the European Literature Festival Cologne-Kalk 2020. In 2022, she published her novella School of Chaos. MKAY is currently working on her manuscripts and as an editor for other writers.
